  • Please note that the pool is NOT fenced, though it is in another part of the garden not visible from the cottage.
  • Our pool has a pool blanket to avoid evaporation - guest are most welcome to use the pool, but are requested to put the pool blanket back after swimming - it’s very light and is simply unrolled on top of the water.
  • We offer great security (electric fence & gate; 24-hour CCTV etc) and guests must ensure that the electric gate closes fully before entering the cottage or driving away.
  • For safety sake, a copy will be made of guests Identity document, drivers license or passport upon check in or as soon thereafter as possible.
  • Due to the severe drought Cape Town is experiencing, we request guests to be mindful of the critical water shortage when showering or doing dishes. Bowls are provided to collect the water and guests are requested to empty it on the roses in front of the cottage to keep them going.
  • To preserve water, we launder towels after every 3rd night and if you require personal laudnry, we'll advise you of launderettes nearby.

"You couldn't find a more charming, delightful place to stay in Cape Town. The cottage is beautifully appointed and equipped, and has a perfect location. And Christelle is an incredibly prompt, thoughtful and generous hostess. I loved every moment of my stay. I'm sure you will, too." - Deborah from Lebanon NH, 2018
